Loyal fans of the actress are demanding that a person who breached a barrier and touched the actress during Thursday's Wicked: For Good debut be detained or removed from Singapore.

A viral video reveals the person identified as Johnson Wen shoving aside media personnel and charging at Grande while the actors proceeded down a yellow carpet surrounded by supporters.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo quickly wrested the shocked performer away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being escorted out of the event by security officers.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "let go after being arrested", though court documents indicated that he was scheduled to be present on Friday morning. It is unknown if he was faced legal action.

Pattern of Incidents

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Notorious Troublemaker", has invaded a performance. His Instagram feed includes clips of him interrupting other celebrity events, including rushing the platform at Katy Perry's Sydney performance in recently and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers performance in the city last winter.

"Measures must be taken taken against him as this is evidently a legal violation," commented an Instagram user, in a response to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his actions.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" a different Instagram user questioned.

Supporters Express Concern Over Ariana's Safety

Several fans criticized Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had revealed experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder after a suicide bomb attack at the conclusion of her May 2017 concert in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and harming hundreds.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" wrote another response on Instagram.

A number of supporters also questioned event staff at the premiere for not being adequately prepared; while some requested digital services to block Mr Wen's uploads.

Reaction and Event Details

In videos spreading on the internet, Grande appeared startled when she was approached by the intruder. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen reassuring her while Mr Wen was escorted away by guards.

Grande has remained silent on the event, and the rest of the event carried on uninterrupted.
